View The Space, a NYC-based commercial real estate software company, raised $7m in funding.
The round was led by Trinity Ventures, with participation from Tom Byrne (former President and COO of Loopnet), Ben Ling (former head of eCommerce at Google), Greg Waldorf (founding investor & Board member at Trulia), Seed Fund, and 500 Startups.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its presence and software platform.
Led by CEO Nick Romito and CRO Ryan Masiello, View The Space provides software that centralizes and optimizes leasing data for landlord and broker users with visibility, real-time lead generation and data-driven reporting capabilities.
The company currently operates in 14 markets across the United States and will be opening five new offices.
Clients include JPMorgan Chase, Boston Properties, TIAA-CREF, Jones Lang LaSalle, CBRE and Cushman and Wakefield.
