User Replay, a Reading, UK-based tech startup that provides ecommerce websites with tools to track customer journeys through their site in order to identify and overcome barriers to conversion, secured a further $500k in seed funding.
The round, which brought the total funding to $2.5m, came from a joint partnership between The South East Seed Fund and The Thames Valley Berkshire Growth Loan Scheme.
The company intends to use the funds to develop its platform.
Established in 2011 and led by John Thompson, CEO, User Replay provides companies with ecommerce channels with a platform to track customer journeys to help them understand the difficulties that customers face when using their websites – such as poor usability and navigation.
Customers include DirectFerries.co.uk, Sports Direct, CoFunds, and a large financial services company in the US.
