Prairie Cloudware Completes $1.65M Funding Round

prairePrairie Cloudware, an Omaha, Neb.-based early stage startup focused on building solutions that allow bank and credit union customers to make mobile payments, completed a $1.65m funding round.

The round was led by Treetop Ventures and Croghan Investments, with participation from Nebraska Global, Nelnet (NYSE: NNI), Tetrad Corporation and other local angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds for research and development as well as prototyping key components in the Prairie Cloudware solution set.

Led by Kevin Kammer, CEO, Prairie Cloudware provides an early-stage startup that provides financial institutions with tools and services to meet their customers’ need of transacting with their mobile devices on-line or at the point-of-sale.
