DataHero, a Palo Alto, CA-based web application that allows users to visualize and understand their data, raised $3.15m in additional seed funding.
The round was led by existing investors Foundry Group.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its team and continue development of enterprise features.
Founded in 2011 by CEO Chris Neumann and Jeff Zabel, DataHero has just released its cloud-based data visualization platform which allows users to connect to the data services they use daily and makes them available via dynamic visualizations. It features connections to online services such as SendGrid, Desk.com and Quandl and introduced new group licensing options for its premium service.
