Warwick Audio Technologies, a Coventry, UK-based Hi-tech loudspeaker company, secured £1.25m in funding.
Backers included Finance Wales, business angels from FSE Investor Network, Mercia, Midven, Minerva Business Angels, and company directors.
Led by Chairman Derek Mottershead, Warwick Audio Technologies specializing in the development of flat and flexible loudspeaker (FFL) solutions for Original Equipment Manufacturers. The company, which has an engineering base in Ebbw Vale, has developed a thin, lightweight and low powered loudspeaker that can be used in flatscreen TVs, audio panels, car audio systems, and in public address systems and advertising displays.
Warwick Audio Technologies will use the funds to commercialize its loudspeaker products developed under its subsidiary company ZonarSound.
