Therma-Flite, a Benicia, California-based clean technology company, closed a $7.5m equity financing round with XPV Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to introduce new products within its core markets and expand its plants in Benicia and El Dorado, Arkansas.
Led by CEO Mike Potter, Therma-Flite provides proprietary processing systems for municipal wastewater treatment and innovative technology used by the oil and gas industry.
The Bio-Scru® technology enables the energy-efficient, automated conversion of wastewater solids into Class A biosolids, turning a waste into a resource that can be used to replace chemical fertilizers in parks and recreational areas.
The Holo-Scru® thermal desorption systems are used by the oil and gas industry to remediate sludges containing high levels of water, diesel and crude oil.
