42 investors acquired a 13.2% stake in Playcart via Crowdcube.
The company intends to use the funds to develop mobile and tablet applications, creates secondary verticals, and cover server and hosting costs.
Founded by Glen Dormieux, Playrcart is an enabler that creates an ecosystem to market, promote, distribute and retail products using video. Its syndicated player engages with a network of publishing partners and allows users to purchase third party related products from within the player itself.
The company’s app will have curated verticals focusing on sectors and markets both locally and internationally.
