PingTune Raises £1M

pingtunePingTune (formerly known as Tuneit), a London, UK-based music messaging app, raised £1m in funding.

According to TechCrunch, backers included Rupert Hambro (Chairman of JO Hambro) and Dominic Perks (serial entrepreneur and investor).

Led by CEO Henry Firth, the company provides iPhone users with a platform to share music with their friends from YouTube or SoundCloud.
It allows them to find music from YouTube and SoundCloud, send it to their friends’ inbox
The app is free.

The company currently has a team of 12 people.
