Locality Raises $4.3M in Funding

localityAccording to TechCrunch, Locality, formerly Centzy, a New York-based local search engine, raised $4.3m in funding.

The round was led by Matrix Partners with participation from Cowboy Ventures and ff Venture Capital.

Founded in 2011 and led by CEO Jay Shek and CTO Jeremy Clemenson, Locality is building a comprehensive and transparent local marketplace. It currently covers 10,000 U.S. cities with over 60 services in 15 categories. It provides accurate prices, reviews, hours, and ratings to help consumers make better decisions.
