Jut, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of a platform for enterprise applications to deal with big data, raised $20m in series B financing.
The round was led by Accel Partners, with participation from LightSpeed Venture Partners and Wing.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its engineering team (it is hiring JavaScript front-end and server-side developers and big data scientists) and bring the first version of its product to market.
Led by Steve McCanne, founder and CEO, Jut is still in stealth mode.
The management team also includes:
– Larry Castro, CFO
– Mike Demmer, VP Engineering, and
– Apurva Dave, VP Marketing.
