Funambol, a Foster City, CA-based provider of white-label personal cloud solutions, secured new funding from Harbert European Growth Capital Fund.
The amount of the funding was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the worldwide expansion of its solution.
Led by Amit Chawla, CEO, and Fabrizio Capobianco, President, and Alberto Onetti CFO, Funambol provides the OneMediaHub personal cloud solution, which is deployed by mobile operators, content providers and other companies.
It is now used by eight tier-1 mobile operators in five continents for an addressable market of 1B+ subscribers.
