Catalyze.io Closes Series A Financing

Catalyze.io, a Milwaukee, WI-based cloud healthcare technology company, closed a Series A financing of undisclosed amount.

The round was co-led by Baird Capital‘s venture capital group, Arthur Ventures and Chicago Ventures, with participation from the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, Gener8tor, Angels on the Water and other individual investors. As part of the financing, Layden and James Burgum, Managing Partner with Arthur Ventures, will join the Catalyze.io board of directors.

The company intends to use the capital to accelerate the development of its technology platform, by scaling pilots with current enterprises, expanding product features and services, as well as integrating additional content and services partners.

Led by CEO Travis Good, M.D., Catalyze.io has developed a cloud-based technology platform to simplify and accelerate the development of mobile healthcare applications for healthcare payers, providers and software vendors. The company’s platform streamlines the application development process by providing scalable, HIPAA compliant cloud infrastructure along with enhanced healthcare data access and management.
Catalyze.io is a recent graduate of Wisconsin-based Gener8tor, an accelerator program with locations in Milwaukee and Madison, Wis., that provides funding and mentorship to early-stage companies.
