Building Robotics Raises $1.14M in Seed Financing

building roboticsBuilding Robotics, an Oakland, CA-based developer of software for people in commercial buildings, raised $1.14m in seed financing round.

Backers included Claremont Creek Ventures, Google Ventures, Formation 8, Navitas Capital, Red Swan Ventures and other angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to add expertise in building management, development, back-end operations, and user experience design.

Led by CEO Andrew Krioukov, Building Robotics has developed Comfy, a product to meaningfully reconnect people to the heating and cooling in their work environments while saving energy. The software installs is compatible with most existing building management systems, and also provides occupants with a mobile and web application.
It incorporates usage patterns and feedback.
