Thinking Phone Networks Raises $10M in Funding

Thinking Phone Networks, a Cambridge, MA-based provider of unified communications as a service (UCaaS), raised $10m in funding.

Backers included existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners and Advanced Technology Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue expansion of international operations, grow global sales and support activities, and fund development of additional applications.

Led by Steven Kokinos, president and CEO, Thinking Phone Networks provides midmarket and larger enterprises with a platform that offers collaboration capabilities spanning voice, video, presence and messaging, contact center, and conferencing. The solution integrates third-party business applications such as CRM and ERP and addresses the needs of service providers, PBX vendors, and channel partners by providing them with back office service deployment, management, and billing tools. It also offers a business intelligence environment which gives an at-a-glance insight into workforce behavior and activities.
