SocialTouch Raises Series C Funding

SocialTouch, a Chinese social media management startup, raised a Series C funding of undisclosed amount.

The round was led by Sierra Ventures, with participation from existing investors GGV Capital and Legend Capital.

The company intends to use the funds for product development and customer acquisition.

Founded in 2011 by Rui Zhang, CEO, SocialTouch, SocialTouch provides a platform for both large enterprises and SMEs (“PinQu”) to manage their social marketing message, monitor social voice from customers, and launch social marketing campaigns across the main social networks in China, such as Sina Weibo, Wechat, and Renren.
Customers include brands such as Procter & Gamble, Red Bull, Lenovo, Durex, Dell, Dettol, Shell, Coca-Cola, Rongchang Pharmaceutical, China Ping An, and others.
SocialTouch has offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
