Sgnam Raises €50K in Seed Funding

Sgnam, a Bologna, Italy-based platform to order food online, raised €50k in seed funding.

The investment was made by Club Italia Investimenti 2.

The company intends to use the funds to expand geographically, acquire users and hire new people.

Co-founded in 2012 by Giovanni Cavallo (business development) and Lorenzo Lelli (CTO), Sgnam aims to make the concept of local food delivery more efficient, bringing more value to the customer by saving their money and their time.
It does it by providing customers with a real-time management platform and app to order food from a wide range of pizza, sushi, pasta, restaurants, etc.). Their promise is to be quick and cheap.
The company, which has been incubated by Nana Bianca, started in Bologna and now is present in Modena, Reggio Emilia and Florence, with more than 5,000 orders received.
