Runnable Secures $2M in Seed Funding

Runnable, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based a platform for finding reusable code, secured $2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Sierra Ventures with participation from Resolute.VC, Angel Pad, 500 Startups, Hiten Shah and Issac Roth.

The company intends to use the funds to build out its library of code, grow its staff, and begin onboarding its list of over 150 partners who plan to contribute original content to the site.

Launched in public beta in early October by CEO Yash Kumar, Runnable provides a centralized location where developers could search for and implement code into their own projects. Partners of Runnable can contribute APIs, libraries, and SDKs they have developed.
