iolo technologies, a provider of performance optimization software for PCs and mobile devices, has been acquired by Marlin Equity Partners.
iolo, whose solutions perform diagnostic testing to identify and resolve performance, stability and security related issues, helping devices run efficiently, has been merged with Phoenix Technologies, a Marlin portfolio company.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Led by president and CEO Rich Geruson and located in Milpitas, California, Phoenix Technologies is a provider of Core Systems Software products, services and embedded technologies that enable the PC industry’s system builders and specifiers to differentiate their systems, reduce time-to-market and increase revenues.
