According to reports, Glowbl, a Lyon, France-based social website that allows users to to meet and share media content and live events, raised more than €700k in funding.
Backers included business angels and private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to launch the platform internationally.
Founded in 2011 by Mathieu Labey, Glowbl.com is a social website that allows users to share media content as well as to share live events. The cloud-based platform allows users to create their own Stage, public or private and invite contacts to join them, discuss by chat or video-conference, add and share content in real time, and broadcast live events.
