Flipps Receives Personal Investment from VC Tim Draper

Flipps (formerly iMediaShare), a San Mateo, CA-based multi-screen TV streaming service, received a personal investment from VC Tim Draper.

The amount of the funding was not disclosed.

Led by Kosta Jordanov, co-founder and CEO, Flipps provides a mobile media discovery and control technology that delivers over-the-top video to the connected TV via existing hardware by streaming directly from the cloud.
Flipps is compatible with over 250 million existing television sets including more than 4,000 models from major manufacturers such as Sony, Samsung and LG.
It is available in Lite and HD ($4.99) in the Google Play and Apple App stores.

The company is funded by Launchub and Teres Capital.
