Visualead Raises $1.6M in Series A Funding

Visualead, a Tel Aviv-Israel-based Visual QR Code and mobile page design platform, raised $1.6m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Kaedan Capital and Entrée Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop its platform for the design of Visual QR Codes and Mobile Pages campaigns, increase distribution of its white label solutions and execute its worldwide IP strategy.

Founded in 2012 by Nevo Alva, CEO, Visualead has developed a platform that allows businesses to embed QR codes into any design or advertisement and create mobile oriented campaigns. The platform is currently used by over 200,000 SMBs.
Visualead also licenses its patented Visual QR Code technology to major enterprises and brands.
