TyresOnTheDrive.com, a Holmes Chapel, UK-based mobile tire-fitting service, raised £1.5m in venture capital funding.
The round was led by MMC Ventures, with participation from EV Group.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand its fleet of tyre-fitting vans and technicians across the UK.
Established in 2011 by Dominic Clark, Managing Director, and Ric Clarke, CTO, TyresontheDrive.com allows customers to buy tyres online and mobile and have them fitted (at a location of their choice) by a team of trained technicians.
The company, which currently covers the North West and the West Midlands employing over 40 staff and operating a fleet of 21 vehicles, plans to expand its operations into Yorkshire and across the South and London in the next months.
