MobileRQ, a Portland, Oregon-based provider of a platform that enables travel and hospitality brands to deliver relevant and actionable content to customers, closed an $800k funding.
The round was led by Verizon Investments LLC, the venture capital arm of Verizon Communications, Inc.
The company intends to use the funds to complete and launch the MobileRQ Traveler Platform and accelerate initial customer acquisition.
Led by Tyler McKinley, co-founder and CEO, MobileRQ provides a cloud-based real-time platform that combines contextual information (proximity, time of day, and unplanned events) with CRM data (loyalty status, demographics, and intent), as well as 3rd party data (Data Management Platforms, flight status) to generate targeted mobile content and messages for travelers.
The solution allows marketers to segment relevant audiences, create campaigns and use real-time analytics to see how customers are reacting to each message.
