Lydia Raises €600K in Funding

According to local reports, Lydia, a French provider of a mobile payment app, raised €600k in funding.

Some undisclosed business angels invested in the company.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the adoption of the app.

Co-founded in 2011 by Cyril Chiche and Antoine Porte, Lydia allows retailers, independent professionals, and entrepreneurs to put their credit cards and their cash in their smartphone by connecting them to a Lydia account and generating an eCheque to scan.
The app is available for iOS and Androïd.
