Influads, the ad network focused on quality, is closing down, with immediate effect.
The Danish startup, founded by Anibal Damiao in 2011 with seed funding from Kima Ventures (read here), operated a cross-channel advertising network curating advertisers, publishers and audience around contexts of influence and delivering quality advertising through only one minimalist, highly relevant and beautifully designed ad per site. They had recently launched a new marketplace (Influads 2.0) to allow publishers to sell ads by themselves.
Effective October 1st, InfluAds’ advertisers and publishers will transition to BuySellAds’ one-ad-per-page platform Fusion Ads.
FinSMEs was part of the startup channel for almost two years, until July 2012.
