HotelQuickly, a Hong Kong-based Hotel booking app, raised HKD$9m ($1.16m) in Series A funding.
Backers included Boon Hwee Koh, the former chairman of Singtel and Singapore Airlines.
The company intends to use the funds for product development and expansion into the Asia Pacific region, where it operates in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Australia.
Co-founded by Tomas Laboutka, CEO, Christian Mischler, COO & CMO, and Michal Juhas, CTO, HotelQuickly is a mobile app for booking last-minute hotel rooms in Asia-Pacific at the lowest rates available. It is available on iPhone, Android, and Blackberry.
