Declara Receives Funding

Declara, a Palo Alto, CA-based provider of an intelligent social learning platform, received an undisclosed amount of funding.

Backers included Peter Thiel, Founders Fund, and Data Collective.

Led by Nelson González and Ramona Pierson, Declara uses a cognitive model combined with machine learning to observe how people collaborate and learn, and automatically delivers the right content and connections, at the right time, to maximize the learning capability of individuals and entire organizations such as Fortune 500 corporations, major universities, international foundations and governments.
It connects people to massive amounts of content and enables them to search, study, interact, and measure progress, all collaboratively and features social collaboration, semantic search, rapid content creation, intelligent chat, live mentoring, self and peer assessment, and progress tracking.
