The Daily Hundred, a Tampa, Florida-based provider of a mobile marketing platform, raised $500k in funding.<
The round was led by Francis Wisniewski, who will be joining the Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to for product development and national sales and marketing initiatives.
Founded in early 2012 by CEO Nicholas Haase and COO Maxwell Finn, The Daily Hundred provides businesses with tools to create, monitor and analyze real-time, location specific mobile marketing campaigns. Users can win prizes ranging from $100 cash to a free product by receiving the most votes, the most shares or by taking the most creative photo.
Its mobile app is available for download on Android. iPhone and web apps are currently in private beta testing and will be released to the public in late September.
