Cinegif Raises $500K in Funding

Cinegif, an Austin, Texas cloud-based GIF marketing platform, raised $500k in funding.

Backers included Baylor Angel Network and Houston Angel Network and its related Halo Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate sales and marketing efforts for its platform.

Led by CEO Graham McFarland, Cinegif provides marketers, advertisers, and agencies with GIF marketing solutions to integrate animated GIFs into their digital strategy. The company’s DIY Platform allows them to create rich media composed of multiple gifs, stills, and hyperlinks and enhance their digital content on websites, email campaigns, landing pages, ecommerce displays, and advertising. Cinegif also provides real-time analytics and content optimization.
The company has recently teamed up with digital marketing company Pulsepoint, as well as video management and licensing company T3Media.
