Balihoo, a Boise, ID-based provider of Local Marketing Automation (LMA) platform, raised $5m in new funding.
The backer was existing investor OpenView Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funding to continue to grow its business and product innovations for its local marketing automation platform for national brands.
Led by Pete Gombert, CEO, Balihoo provides Local Marketing Automation (LMA) technology and services to national brands with local marketing needs. It gives brands control over local marketing execution and and the customer experience closer to the point of purchase.
A new Localized Social Media feature enables brands with a corporate Facebook page to complement their national content with locally provided and relevant content viewable only by Facebook users in the appropriate markets.
