Aventura, a Denver, Colorado-based provider of awareness computing solutions for hospitals, completed a $4.3m funding round.
Backers include current investors Clarion Direct Investment, Excel Venture Management, HLM Venture Partners, and MemorialCare Innovation Fund (MCIF).
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow operations.
Led by newly appointed president and CEO John Gobron, Aventura provides awareness computing for the healthcare industry. Through its patented technology, the company delivers awareness of a user’s identity and role, their location within a facility, what device they are working on, and what patient they are treating and uses it to provide a virtual desktop and the applications a user needs and exact screens required to care for that particular patient.
