Apmetrix, a San Diego, CA-based provider of cross-platform high-end video game and mobile app analytics, completed a financing of undisclosed amount.
Backers included Analytics Ventures, La Costa Investment Group, and KI Investment Holdings, LLC.
Founded in 2012 by video game and analytics veterans CEO Lee Jacobson and Blaise Barrelet, Apmetrix has just launched an analytics platform that allows clients to view user behavior and use push notifications and rewards to automatically engage and re-target various users based on how they interact with the game or app. It is available for all video game and mobile programs.
Since launching in July, the company has already signed over 40 clients in over 10 countries.
The Advisory Board of Apmetrix includes:
– Nolan Bushnell (Atari),
– Brian Fargo (inXile Entertainment),
– Mark Skaggs (Zynga), and
– Torsten Oppermann (Indigo Pearl).
