trueAnthem, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of viral content tracking and social influence platform, raised $2.6m in equity financing.
Backers included CrunchFund, Core Ventures Group and private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to build continue to enhance its platform.
Led by CEO Chris Hart, trueAnthem provides marketers, publishers and advertisers with a platform to amplify their social influence by tracking the viral spread of shared content across the web and mobile devices in real time, and pinpointing social influencers (people who not only share content, but also inspire their followers and friends to take action).
