SocialChorus Raises $2.5M in Series A Funding

Backers included Series A lead investor Kohlberg Ventures, which had invested in 2007 along with angels (read here), and new investor Windforce Ventures.
The company’s site also lists Western Technology Investment as an investor.

Led by Greg Shove, founder and CEO, SocialChorus provides a platform for brands to manage blogger, customer and employee advocate programs.
It recently added mobile optimization, other social networks and automated social engagement detection and hired Brad Klaus, former CEO of Extole, as Chief Revenue Officer.
The company has already powered over 200 advocate-marketing programs for brands such as AT&T, Kia Motors, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Toyota, Outback Steakhouse and Windows Phone, among others.

SocialChorus is hiring.
