Sentinel Labs Raises $2.5M in Seed Funding

Sentinel Labs, a Palo Alto, CA-based cyber-security startup, raised $2.5m in seed funding.

According to TechCrunch, backers included Data Collective, Granite Hill Capital Partners, Accel Partners and other angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its R&D efforts.

Led by CEO Tomer Weingarten, Sentinel Labs provides solutions to detect cyber-security threats in real time.
The company says its platform does not inspect files or websites but detect suspicious behaviours, in real time, as they happen, and stop them before they do damage to workstations or mobile devices across organizations.
Sentinel Labs is a graduate startup of UpWest Labs.
