Pathflow Raises €130K in Seed Funding

Pathflow, a Rome, Italy-based real life analytics platform, raised €130k in seed funding.

The news emerged from a recent interview of Silvio Gulizia with CEO and Founder Alberto Gangarossa on Wired.it.

Backers included H-Farm, Club Italia Investimenti and Maurizio Donadelli, which invested €105k, and Working Capital Telecom Italia, which provided a €25k grant in the framework of its startup accelerator program.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the service.

Led by Gangarossa, COO Marco Baratto, and CFO Edoardo Ricca, Pathflow leverages a camera based system to analyze how customers move and behave inside a location and matches this analysis with marketing and sales data  to extracts objective insights. The platform will be available in beta-test from september 2013 in a selected italian retail stores.
