Collegefeed Secures $1.8M in Seed Funding

Collegefeed, a Mountain View, California-based free online platform for students and new grads to find a job, secured $1.8m in seed funding.

The round was led by Accel Partners, with participation from Mark Stevens of S-Cubed Capital and key Silicon Valley angels.

Launched nationwide in May 2013 and led by Sanjeev Agrawal, CEO and co-founder, Collegefeed provides an online platform that allows new grads to start their careers. It offers tools to analyze a job-seeker’s resume, interests and skills and then to automatically connect them to employers.

New grads can create profiles to showcase their skills and qualifications, discover new companies, jobs and internships, network with employers and alums, and win financial awards from sponsoring companies. Companies like YouTube, eBay, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, Saavn, and Adroll can find the right candidates by getting a branded presence.
