Scottsdale, AZ-based venture capital firm Venture51 is raising a $25m fund.
According to a filing with the S.E.C., the name of the vehicle is Venture51 Capital Partners II, L.P.
Led by founding and managing partners, Ryan Swagar and Brandon Zeuner, Venture51 is an early stage venture capital firm that invests in high technology companies. They focus on investments after the Seed Round but prior to the Series A Round in a niche they call the “Traction Gap”. According to an article appeared recently on Pandodaily, “in Fund II, Venture51 plans to increase its average check size to between $500,000 and $1 million, while syndicating the additional capital for rounds that it expects to average $1.5 to $3 million“.
They have invested in companies like Dekko, Betable, Trigger, etc.
