Tunaspot Raises €200K in Funding

According to local reports, Tunaspot, a Malmö, Sweden, location-based music platform, raised €200k in funding.

Backers included two unnamed angels from Germany.

The company is using the funds to continue to develop the platform on mobile and open an office in Berlin.

Led by Alex Esser, Christian Nilsson, Erik Stenberg and Niklas Mascher, Tunaspot filters music by location and enables users to discover music that works best for a particular location or activity (home town, a balcony, a beach, a gym or a club).
Available on Spotify, the company currently has 100,000 users, mainly in Scandinavia and USA, with plans to reach 250,000 by the end of the year.
