Seculert Closes $10M Series B Funding

Seculert, a Petach Tikva, Israel-based advanced threat protection company, closed a $10m Series B funding.

The round was led by Sequoia Capital with participation from existing investor Norwest Venture Partners (NVP). In conjunction with the funding, Gili Raanan, partner at Sequoia Capital, joined Seculert’s Board of Directors.

Led by Dudi Matot, co-founder and CEO, Seculert provides a service that combats advanced malware and Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) by leveraging the cloud, crowdsourcing and Big Data analytics to identify and block attacks at the speed at which they develop.
The company, which was founded by Matot, Aviv Raff, CTO, and Alex Milstein, COO, has R&D in Israel with sales offices located in Europe and the United States.
