Riskive Raises $2.2M in Seed Funding

Riskive, a Baltimore, MD-based provider of security solutions that protects companies from cyber attacks, raised $2.2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Genacast Ventures, with participation from Core Capital, NEA Founder Frank Bonsal and serial entrepreneurs Greg Cangliosi, Bill Boyle and Andrew Eye, amongst others.

Led by James C. Foster, CEO and Founder, and Evan Blair, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder, Riskive provides government and enterprise organizations with a cloud-based technology platform that leverages predictive analytics to protect them against Social Cyber Threats. The company’s solution, which is currently deployed in beta, identifies, monitors and prevents risk across the socially connected enterprise and allows for real-time protection of users, applications and social brand assets.
Riskive has a team of over 12 security experts.
