Nifti Raises $800K in Seed Funding

Nifti, a Boston, MA-based new shopping service that tracks discounts on products, raised $800k in seed funding.

Backers included Google Ventures, Otto Capital and investor Andy Palmer.

Nifti lets shoppers follow any product they find on any website, and then notifies them when these items drop to the price they want to pay.

Founded by Nathan Sharp, Greg Kimball and Abe Gurjal, Nifti allows consumers to track, compare, and share products from one place. Users can set price alerts and track price history on any item across the web. Once a user tracks an item with the Nifti Button (a browser bookmarklet), it will be stored in a location (at Nifti) so he/she can compare, organize and share all of their desired products.
