LiveMinutes Closes $1.4M Seed Funding

LiveMinutes, a San Francisco, CA-based real-time team collaboration service, closed a $1.4m seed funding.

The round was led by Great Oaks VC with participation from New World Ventures, Ali Rosenthal, and Sam Yagan.

The company intends to use the funds to extend its marketing efforts and to implement more partnerships with industry players.

Led by Kemal El Moujahid, Co-Founder & CEO, LiveMinutes offers a single real-time collaboration platform that includes project management, document editing, and web conferencing. Users can create a workspace in the app, invite their colleagues, and start collaborating on a project, either asynchronously by leaving comments, or synchronously by launching a conference call. Use cases include small start-ups, cross-functional projects in large enterprises, freelancers, and distributed teams working on digital content.
It is a pure HTML5 platform that runs in any browser with no installation.
