CloudArena Raises $1.5M Funding

CloudArena, an Istanbul, Turkey-based operator of a cloud based property, online sales and digital marketing management platform for hotels, and accommodations of all sizes, raised a $1.5m early stage funding.

The round was led by Aslanoba Capital with participation from 212 Capital Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and innovation, hiring new people (read here) and making acquisitions.

Founded in 2011 by Ali Beklen, Arden Agopyan and Tolga Yalçınkaya, CloudArena provides a SaaS platform that enables hotels to create and manage online content, improve social media reputation, and accept reservations from all channels. It also offers an Online Travel Agency (OTA) platform for selling accommodation (hotels, daily rental, short-term lodging, etc.), tours, and transfers.
