Chairish Raises $3.2M in Seed Funding

Chairish, a San Francisco, CA-based online marketplace for people to buy and sell pre-owned home furnishings, raised $3.2m in seed funding.

Backers included Azure Capital Partners and O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures (OATV).

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand its marketplace.

Launched in February 2013 by President Eric Grosse, Gregg and Anna Brockway, Andy Denmark and Nancy Ramamurthi, Chairish.com allows buyers to access to a curated selection of home furnishings and décor at a discounted price. Pieces, which range from Christian Liaigre to Holly Hunt to vintage, mid-century modern, contemporary, etc., are directly sold by their owners.
The company handles logistics and payments.
