BoxCast Raises $250K in Funding from JumpStart

BoxCast, a Cleveland, Ohio-based  video broadcasting solutions, raised $250k in funding from JumpStart Inc.

The company also has received funding from the Cuyahoga County North Coast Opportunities Fund and the Innovation Fund, and was awarded a MAGNET Product Acceleration & Technical Assistance (MPAcT) grant.

Led by founder Gordon Daily, BoxCast allows anyone with a camera to stream standard and high-definition live video to its cloud-based service for retrieval at any time (and from any location). Initial customers include churches to expand their outreach as well as high school and college athletic departments who want to broadcast their sporting events.
