BizAnytime, a Tucson, AZ-based provider of a online collaboration and communication platform, raised over $2m in seed funding.
Unnamed independent investors backed the company.
The funds has been used for research and development (beta testing phases for the current software system have been completed) and are now utilized for business development efforts.
Led by Leif Hartwig, CEO, and Karen Connors, COO, BizAnytime offers a cloud-based system that provides advanced tools for collaboration, communication and sharing among colleagues, clients and vendors. Services include:
– Shared workspaces
– Task management tools
– Ongoing discussion feeds
– Chat programs
– Cloud file storage and sharing functions
– Document and project collaboration
– Video conferencing tools
The platform recently integrated Dropbox functionality.
