ThousandEyes Raises $5.5M in Series A Funding

ThousandEyes, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of IT performance management for the cloud, raised $5.5m in Series A funding.

Bakers included Sequoia Capital and other Silicon Valley angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate its roadmap and growth.

Led by Mohit Lad, the co-founder and CEO (who blogged here today about it), ThousandEyes just emerged from stealth to launch a new product that provides detailed visibility into the performance of cloud applications, identifies the root cause of problems with them and enables distributed collaboration to resolve problems.
Customers include members of the Fortune 500, Equinix, Evernote, Priceline, ServiceNow, Twitter, Zendesk and Zynga.
