Namely Raises $3.35M in Series A Financing

Namely, a NYC-based provider of a people management platform, raised $3.35m in Series A financing.

The round was led by True Ventures, with participation from Lerer Ventures, Bullpen Capital, Mike Lazerow, and Gary Vaynerchuk.

The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate their growth.

Launched in January 2012 by Matt Straz, CEO, Namely provides a cloud-based, Safe Harbor Certified platform that helps high-growth companies manage their people and teams with data. The solution features 360° performance reviews, HRIS, team charting, messaging and reporting.
It is used by dozens of organizations including BuzzFeed, Saatchi & Saatchi, Birchbox, GroupM, and Thrillist.
