Medprivé, a Spanish startup that commercializes surgery and other health services, closed a €500k first funding round.
Backers included Cabiedes & Partners, and some angel investors.
The company intends to use the capital to continue to expand in Spain.
Co-founded by Marc Montserrat, Albert Armengol and Guillermo Barnola, Medprivé partners with centers specializing in plastic surgery, ophthalmology, assisted reproduction, and dental care to offer low price services to clients.
It is already present La Coruña, Alicante, Barcelona, Córdoba, Granada, Madrid, Málaga, Mallorca and Baleares, Murcia, San Sebastián, Sevilla, Valencia, Vigo, Vizcaya and Zaragoza.
